Pricing · Licence exposure

What your licence bill does
as your estate grows.

Per-unit licensing is a slope: every core or node you add is another purchase. Enter your own figures to see how much of the next few years’ spend goes on licensing growth rather than the estate you already run.

The other half of the comparison

Under a banded fee, growth inside a band does not move the platform fee, and crossing a band is a step agreed at the outset. We cannot draw that line honestly without knowing your estate, so we model it with you rather than on a web page.

How to read it

What the numbers are, and are not.

The growth share is the point
It is the part of your spend that buys licences for capacity you have not added yet. On a per-unit model it rises every year the estate grows.
Renewal rises are optional
Set a renewal rise only if your contract carries one. At 0% the chart shows growth alone.
It is not a quote
Nothing here is an Oasis Stack price, and no saving is claimed. It is your current model, projected from your own figures.
It is the licence line only
Hardware, people and the licences that stay underneath are outside it. A TCO assessment puts them back in.
What stays on your bill

Enter only what you would replace.

Oasis Stack replaces the tier above your infrastructure, not everything in it. The migration pages list line by line what goes and what stays.

Coming from VMware
vCloud Director and Aria are replaced. ESXi and vCenter stay licensed. vSAN is replaceable with Ceph if you choose to move storage. Migrating from VMware
Coming from Red Hat
OpenShift and the infrastructure-layer RHEL subscriptions are replaced. RHEL inside customer virtual machines stays paid. Migrating from Red Hat
The other half

Put the banded fee against your estate.

We model the flat fee per deployment, banded by scale, against your figures once we understand your estate. That happens with you, after an NDA.
